Be aware of ads that send you to a person's private Web site. Credit cards are usually involved, along with other stuff your mom and dad probably wouldn't be too proud of.
What about posting sleazy shots? Short and simple, you get what you advertise for. Case closed.
The bottom line is that we're trying to meet someone to spend time with, right? Then why in the hell are we submitting photos that wouldn't even land us last place at the annual dog show? You don't have to be model material to submit a nice, pleasing photo. And I really can't understand why someone would go through this entire process of Internet dating just to slap up a really bad, blurred, dark, unidentifiable photo.
It's a shame we put so much emphasis on picking out the best photos, verses the best narratives of the ads when three-fourths of the time, the people don't even remotely resemble their picture. I highly suggest reading more of the ad before making a hasty decision based solely on a picture.
